Ardens Missionary
Hallo! I'm Neil Harold, an Ardens Campus Missionary serving university students in Passau, Germany.
I'm an Irish-American dual citizen who returned to the Catholic faith while studying at Aquinas College, where I was formed by Dominican spirituality. After university, I stayed in West Michigan, where I got involved in attending and leading many Catholic young adult communities (retreats, Bible studies, and more), even founding a group called Communitas, which has grown to over 500 members.
While I loved Michigan, I felt called to more. So, on six weeks' notice, I accepted the opportunity to move somewhere I don't yet speak the language, hoping to meet people who need a radical encounter. This generation faces real challenges: questions of identity, belonging, and purpose, amid rapid cultural change. Through Bible studies, discipleship, and personal accompaniment, we meet students where they are and invite them into an incarnational faith life rooted in Christ.
