Every Ardens missionary is trained in safeguarding to the standards of the dioceses we serve before their first day on campus.
Ardens missionaries work only at the invitation of the local bishop and serve alongside the existing chaplaincy team. We commit to the safeguarding policy of every diocese we serve, and our formation programme covers safeguarding training across pastoral, intellectual, spiritual, and human formation.
Concerns of any kind can be raised confidentially. Our safeguarding lead reviews every report and responds within two working days. If your concern relates to a specific diocese, our safeguarding lead will also liaise with the diocesan safeguarding officer in line with their own policy.
